Lakeshore Road Ride – Burlington to Oakville Waterfront

Ride along the western shore of Lake Ontario on this fast, flowing route from Burlington toward Bronte and Oakville. The journey follows Lakeshore Road through a mixture of waterfront neighbourhoods, open shoreline sections and small urban centres. Starting in Burlington, the route passes parks and residential streets before continuing northeast beside the lake through Shoreacres and Elizabeth Gardens. Much of the terrain is flat, making the route well suited to maintaining a smooth and consistent effort. The long, uninterrupted road sections work particularly well for tempo training, steady endurance sessions or a shorter high-intensity workout. As the ride approaches Bronte, the surroundings become more urban while Lake Ontario remains close by. The combination of fast pavement, waterfront scenery and changing neighbourhoods creates an energetic indoor cycling experience without major climbing. 🎥 Original Video Lakeshore Road Ride – Burlington toward Bronte by Andrei Rides Watch the original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8itk-BHJXS8 Creator channel: https://www.youtube.com/@andreirides This workout synchronizes a GPX route with the video using the official YouTube player.
